Reviewed on 1st September 2017Callerton Parking are now amalgamated with the two other off airport providers at Newcastle Airport (park & fly & Bellair) prices have gone up, their drop off/collection buses are not big enough to accommodate all the passengers waiting to be returned to their cars.

Reviewed on 18th December 2016We have used Callerton for 10 years or more and always been happy with the service, unfortunately our experience this time was tainted by the long weight we had for transport from the airport. Returning from a hot climate holiday we didn't enjoy standing in the cold wind for what seamed like an age. When I phoned the number on the card given to us when we left the car, the phone was answered by what sounded like a young man who didn't want to be there who I think said we had just missed transport and a bus would be sent as soon as possible.

Reviewed on 14th November 2016Transport was quick and easy. The shelters are too small. Pick-up point could be nearer the terminal doors, as the present area is too small.

Reviewed on 24th September 2015On arrival my booking was not in the system. This then required a 10 minutes delay while our booking was remade. The service and staff were very good as always but feel customers should be advised that this is no longer Callerton. On our return we were met and all people present taken to whichever car park they had booked. The driver informed us that another bus was on the way. Surely one bus could go to one park and another to the other park rather than each bus going to all parks.

Reviewed on 6th September 2015As the previous reviewer noted, this car park is now run and managed by Newcastle airport (who now have a monopoly on all the onsite/offsite carparks as they have taken them all over) Check in is now really slow. You have to repeat all the details you entered when booking (Car details, Flights etc). Bus now drops you a fraction closer to the main door. Bus picks up from same place (different from where Callerton used to drop/collect you). You no longer phone for the bus. You just stand around wondering if a bus will ever turn up. As previous reviewer commented staff less friendly/helpful. Hopefully things will improve with time.

Reviewed on 2nd September 2015Callerton Parking is under new management and when we commented on this upon arrival we were told things were going to be more professional. We were satisfied with the previous company so were interested to see the difference. All fine on outward leg but on return home the vehicle was not waiting for us inspite of this being promised. We would still be standing there if we had not phoned. Eventually the vehicle arrived (no apology offered) but was not big enough for everyone waiting! One of the two staff members had to stay behind. We were left to close the heavy sliding door ourselves from the inside despite the two staff members being present. Not impressed at all by this experience.

Reviewed on 31st May 2014Easy to use parking. No problems when dropping car off with my wife and two little girls. Booked car in took 5 mins. Then into a mini bus and driven to airport, which took another 5 mins. On return however I was informed to ring the office when I had cleared passport control and collected luggage. This I did and waited at drop off part of Newcastle airport. The mini bus arrived within 10 mins. Unfortunately unknown to me lots of other travellers where waiting for the same bus. As I was trying to load luggage into back of bus other people got on the bus. The driver informed me no room on the bus. So all the travellers without children promptly went to collect their cars. My wife and I were left with two young children. We waited for another 10 mins for bus to arrive again. So I hope the people that jumped the bus are happy with themselves.

Reviewed on 18th May 2014This was good service all the way, running smoothly and quickly from our arrival at Callerton to the drop off at the airport. This would have been a five star review but on our arrival back to the UK, with hand baggage only, we immediately rang Callerton. A minibus arrived relatively swiftly and we boarded. We then had to wait 15-20 mins for other passengers from the same flight who we're waiting for hold baggage! The driver, stood outside the bus, didn't speak to us or communicate what was happening which added to our frustration. This ruined an otherwise good experience.

Reviewed on 29th May 2013Have used callerton twice now and they are reasonably priced and are very convenient for the airport being just 5 mins away, however their organisation of getting you to and especially from the airport at busy times is very hit and miss. We arrived back at Newcastle ( party of 9, including a baby, so we were going to fill one of their little minibuses, but the organisation was so poor another couple with a toddler jumped on the bus and some of our party had to travel sat on a makeshift step in the rear of the minibus. This can't be acceptable, but the driver thought it was fine. We also left a lot of unhappy people running round the car park trying to find out, where they would be picked up from. Once back at the callerton compound our car was ready and waiting so the organisation of this part was fine. I think for the 10-15 quid difference i'll just park at the airport next time and save myself the hassle.
